Opus Land expands its Construction Team
Ian Morgan joins the business this week as Associate Director. Ian is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with over 16 years consultancy experience within the Construction Industry, working across Commercial, Industrial and Logistics, as well as Residential Sectors. He has been actively involved in projects at all stages of the project lifecycle, building strong relationships with both Clients, Design Teams and Key Stakeholders to ensure able key project objectives are understood, defined and delivered successfully.
Ian will be working across the full development lifecycle, from assisting the Development team in the early stages of site purchases, planning and legals, through to the design, procurement and delivery of construction projects themselves.

So far this year, Opus Land has completed the construction of 120,000 sq ft of new office and industrial space, with a further 1,000,000 sq.ft. currently or soon-to-be under construction. Opus Land and Savills Investment Management purchased a brownfield site, which was formerly a Ford Factory car park and obtained planning for a 60,000 sq. ft retail space, located just 0.5 miles from the town centre and 15 minutes’ walk from the train station.
Together with their joint venture partner, Manse LLP, and on behalf of Rolls-Royce, Opus Land are delivering more than 2 million sq. ft of space at Prospero, Ansty, starting with a 490,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility for Meggitt PLC.
Opus Land and Bridges completed an 153,800 sq. ft unit with 16 loading doors at the Kingwood Lakeside Business Park in Cannock.
A 160,950 sq. ft multi-let office, three miles from Birmingham city centre which underwent a comprehensive refurbishment programme by Opus Land and was sold for £24.25m.
